A raised bed should last more than a season. We build ours from real cedar, which stands up to New England weather without pressure-treated lumber touching your soil, and we stiffen long walls so the planter stays square. Ground beds get an open, free-draining bottom and pest mesh; deck or patio builds get a slatted base, permeable liner, drainage gap, and feet.

Set your own length, width, and height, add a cedar climbing trellis, and preview the footprint over a photo of your yard or patio. The designer calculates the cedar board/post takeoff, approximate soil volume, delivery and placement, creates a shareable ad preview, and lets you send the plan or reserve it through Square.

Why cedar?: Cedar naturally resists rot and insects without pressure-treatment chemicals, so nothing leaches into the soil your food grows in. It also weathers to a nice silver-grey if you leave it, or holds a stain if you want color.
What does the trellis do?: It is a tall cedar lattice that mounts to the back of the bed and fans out slightly toward the top — perfect for clematis, climbing roses, beans, peas, or cucumbers. Add it or leave it off right in the builder.
Can I get any size?: Yes. Set the length, width, and height to whatever you need. If you want something bigger than the builder allows or an L-shape, send the design and we will quote the custom build. Shop pickup, delivery, and on-site placement are separate choices with their prices shown in the designer.
