We find the customer, set the scope and schedule the job. You don't quote, chase or collect.
Work comes as we win jobs in your area, so it can be uneven, especially somewhere new for us. We don't promise a number of jobs.
Each work order shows the scope, address and your flat pay before you say yes. Pass on anything.
Your pay goes out within 5 business days after you turn the job in (done, photos and invoice) once the customer has paid, and never later than 14 days after you turn it in. Paid by bank transfer (ACH, usually 1 to 2 business days) or mailed check (usually 4 to 6).
What we ask of approved subs: sign our plain-English Subcontractor Agreement, keep a W-9, general liability insurance ($1M / $2M, Cairn named additional insured) and workers' comp or an exemption on file, and treat every homeowner as Cairn's customer.
Licensed trades: electrical work goes only to an NH Master electrician or a licensed electrical company (NH law, RSA 319-C:2 IV), and plumbing to an NH Master plumber. Handyman, carpentry, painting and drywall need no state license; we ask for photos of recent work.
